Use and access of this website is subject to the terms and conditions contained below and elsewhere on the website including our Privacy Policy (known collectively as “Terms and Conditions”). By accessing, browsing, shopping or using any other of the services on this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms you must not use our Website or Pre ordering services. Please read these Terms carefully and make sure that you understand them before using the Website or Pre ordering services.

Products

The images of the Products and any packaging (if applicable) on our Website are for illustrative purposes only. Although we have made every effort to display the colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that your computer’s display of the colours accurately reflect the colour of the Products and/or packaging. The Products may vary slightly from those images.
The range of Products offered on our Website and in our stores (including any of the products that may have been confirmed to you as reserved) is subject to change without prior notice and we reserve the right from time to time, to withdraw or cease to make available any or all of the Products from our Website.
The packaging of the Products may vary from that shown on images on our site.
All Products shown on our site are subject to availability and applicable duty free restrictions

Pre Orders and Payment

To purchase duty free or tax free goods, you must be travelling internationally. To order duty free goods through this website you must be flying into Cochin International Airport (CIAL) and completing your immigration process at Cochin International Airport. The online customer must be the traveller collecting the goods from the shop.
The pre-order facility can be availed a minimum of twenty four (24) hours prior to arrival and no more than 7 days prior to arrival. Pre ordering requests made any sooner or later than this cannot be accepted by us.
The minimum order value of the goods ordered through the preordering website shall be Rs.3500/-
To place an order through this website you will need to input your contact details, age , your flight and travel details. If you do not provide any of the mandatory details requested, we will not be able to process your order.
Payments for Products reserved via pre-order facility will be taken when you collect the Products from our store. You do not have to make any payment or provide any payment information through the Website.
After you make a pre order request via the pre-order facility, you will receive an email (“Order Confirmation Email”) from us acknowledging that we have received your request and we will assign you an order request number. This order request number must be quoted in all subsequent correspondence with us relating to your request.
When using the pre ordering service, please ensure that the details are complete and accurate before you submit the request. As part of the reservation process, you will also be asked to provide the arrival time, arrival date and flight number. Please take particular care to ensure this information is accurate as we will use it to determine your collection date and time. If you realise that you have provided us with any incorrect information or you wish to amend your reservation after you have received your order reservation Email you should cancel your pre order request and place a new pre order request.
Note that Order confirmation Emails are not a binding offer nor a “promise to sell” agreement. By making a reservation through pre ordering facility you are only reserving the Products for collection and purchase at the time of arrival in compliance with applicable customs requirements, and in store in accordance with these Terms. The completion of the contract between you and us will take place when you pay for and collect the Products in store. Title to any Products you reserve via pre ordering facility shall pass to you when you collect and pay for the Products in store in accordance with the in store terms of sale.
We reserve the right to cancel your reservation in whole or in part for any reason at any time. Where we cancel any reservation, we will try to notify you of this prior to your flight time.
Orders must be made/cancel at least 24 hours prior to reaching the airport.
We accept payment in store in various currencies. If you wish to pay in a currency other than Indian Rupees (INR), the conversion rate into the currency you wish to pay will be determined in accordance with our in-store terms of sale on the actual date of purchase.

Prices

The prices shown on this website are indicative. Customer need to pay the actual price on arrival. The customer acknowledges that, by placing an order, the customer is also agreeing to pay for the product(s) ordered and to collect the product(s) from your nominated collection point.
Any prices displayed on this website may be changed at any time without notice.
Our site contains a large number of Products. It is always possible that, despite our reasonable efforts, some of the Products on our site may be incorrectly priced. If we discover an error in the price of the Products you have reserved, we will try to inform you about the error through the email id registered with us and we will give you the option of continuing with the reservation of the Products at the correct price or cancelling your reservation, as we will not provide the products to you at the incorrect price. We will not reserve the Products until we have your instructions. If we are unable to contact you using the contact details you provided during the reservation process, we will treat the reservation as cancelled.
The Pre ordering services guarantees you the best deal available at the time of the purchase from us, when you pay for and collect the Products at the store. All valid promotional offers prevailing at the store relevant to your reserved products will be applied at the time of final billing of your reserved products. Over and above, a flat pre ordering discount, if any, applied on the net amount post application of promotional offers will also be offered for your pre order purchases.
This additional pre ordering discount only applies to the number of Products that have been reserved and does not apply to products which have been added to the basket within the airport store.
All products must be paid for in full at the CDRSL counter before you collect the products.
All prices are shown in Indian Rupees (₹)

Collection

Product(s) must be collected at the CDRSL counter specified on your order:
To collect your order, you must present: (i) the confirmation email (ii) the passport and (iii) Valid boarding card and any other relevant travel documents correlating with the flight details nominated on your order form, otherwise your reservation will be cancelled and you will be unable to purchase the Products.
You agree to inspect the product(s) immediately on collection. You must notify our staff immediately of any shortfall or incorrect delivery. If you do not notify our staff of any shortfall or incorrect delivery then, subject to any law to the contrary, you may not subsequently make a claim to CDRSL in respect of such shortfall or other error.
Your reservation shall automatically be cancelled and the Products returned to the store for general sale if for any reason you do not pay for and collect the Products within your collection date and time stated in your Reservation Email.
To ensure the availability of Products in store which are included in promotional offers, there may be restrictions on the number of certain promotional Products you can reserve. Where any such restriction applies, you will not be able to reserve more than the permitted number of Products.
We shall not be liable to you in any way whatsoever where circumstances arise whereby the Products you have reserved are not available or cannot be purchased on the date of your collection.
The Products will be your responsibility once you have collected them and you will own the Products once we have received payment in full

Fitness for purpose

All products advertised on this website are intended to be used only for personal, household or domestic use and are not intended for commercial use.

Restrictions

Age restrictions apply to the order of particular products in accordance with Indian Customs regulations and applicable Indian law. I.e. if you are under 23 years, you will not be able to order liquor products through this website, by reserving any of these Products you confirm that you are the required age. We are not allowed by law to supply these restricted products to you if you do not satisfy the age requirements. If you are underage please do not attempt to reserve these Products.
All reservations are subject to any applicable customs regulations and/or duty free regulations applicable to international travellers arriving at Cochin International Airport. Adherence to any customs regulations are the responsibility of the purchaser.
Please note that due to customs regulations, we are unable to deliver any uncollected Products to an alternative address outside of the relevant airport arrival shop and the Products can only be collected from the designated collection point at that airport.

Delays or Change in Travel Details

CDRSL is not responsible for any delay in delivery of any product(s) to the collection points caused by, or in any way connected with, any cause beyond the reasonable control of CDRSL (including but not limited to non-delivery or shortage of supplies, strikes and industrial disputes, disturbances or terrorism).
It is your responsibility to contact CDRSL if there is a change in your date and time of arrival, or a change in your airline.
If an Event outside Our Control takes place that affects the performance of our obligations under a contract between you and us, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible.

Rejection and Cancellation of Orders by CDRSL

CDRSL may reject or cancel any order made by you at any time (even if previously accepted by CDRSL), in the following circumstances:
- Where you request a commercial quantity of any product; or
- Where you do not satisfy the concession or age requirements and restrictions imposed by Indian Customs/Excise; or
- where CDRSL has inadvertently displayed any errors on the website including incorrect prices, descriptions or illustrations or typographical errors and these errors are relevant to your order; or
- Where the website has indicated that products are available when they are not; subject to any applicable laws.
If the order is not collected by the respected customer, it will automatically get cancelled.

No Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CDRSL, its related bodies corporate, directors, employees, agents and representatives, exclude all liability, howsoever arising (including from negligence), for any loss or damage whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, by any user, arising in any way out of or in connection with the website, including, but not at all limited to such loss, damage or injury arising out of the following:
- Copying or displaying the contents on this website;
- Any technical malfunction, error, virus, delay or interference on this website;
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CDRSL and its agents:
- do not make any representation, warranty or endorsement of any kind, whether express or implied, with respect to the information or material contained herein or the accuracy, reliability or completeness thereof. In addition, CDRSL and its agents make no representation as to the accuracy, ownership of any information or content that is otherwise accessible from this website via hyper-links to other websites maintained by other companies and organizations; and
- Expressly disclaim all representations and warranties, express or implied, with respect to the products and merchandise advertised or otherwise featured on this website.
CDRSL shall not be responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized with this website, or for any technical or human error which may occur in the course of the operation or administration thereof. CDRSL assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, computer viruses, bugs, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, any information provided by a website user.

we will use reasonable endeavours to verify the accuracy of any information on the Website but you acknowledge and agree that the Website and the Pre Ordering service are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis and we make no representation or warranty of any kind, express or implied, statutory or otherwise regarding the contents or availability of the Website or that it will be timely or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Website or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs or represents the full functionality, accuracy, reliability and of the Website. We will not be responsible or liable to you for any loss of content or material uploaded or transmitted through the Website and we accept no liability for any kind of loss or damage from action taken in reliance on material or information contained on the Website.
We only supply the Products for domestic and private use. You agree not to use the product for any commercial, business or re-sale purposes, and we have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.

You indemnify CDRSL, its related bodies corporate, directors, employees, agents and representatives, from and against all actions, suits, claims, demands, liabilities, costs, expenses, loss and damage (including legal fees on a full indemnity basis) incurred or suffered as a direct or indirect consequence of you using this website.

Promotional Offers

From time to time, Cochin Duty Free will have wide range of promotional offers for various products. During pre-ordering these offers won’t be applicable. You can avail all the offers during the collection time, whichever is live for your selected products.

General

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of law, that provision will be severed and the other provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
CDRSL may alter the Terms and Conditions from time to time without notice and it is your responsibility to monitor amended Terms and Conditions. All changes are effective from the date of posting the revised Terms and Conditions on this website. Any updated version of the Terms and Conditions will immediately supersede any prior version. However, changes made to the present Terms and Conditions do not apply when a consumer has already placed his order.
Every time you make a reservation with us, the Terms in force at that time will apply to the contract between you and us.
Your continued use of our Website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest Terms.
Purchaser agree that you will not use this website for any purpose that is unlawful, or prohibited under these Terms and Conditions. You agree that you will not use this website to spam, transmit or upload any material that contains viruses or other harmful programs or that breach any laws including intellectual property rights, defamation, or privacy rights. Purchaser also agree not to interfere with or disrupt this website or attempt to gain unauthorized access.
In order to use this website, it is your responsibility to procure access to the Internet and to pay any costs associated with that access.

CDRSL reserves the right to modify, suspend services on this website, and to terminate purchaser ability to purchase products from this website at any time without notice. Other important terms

Any contract concluded pursuant to these Terms is made between you and us. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms.
Each of the paragraphs of these Terms operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect
If we fail to insist that you perform any of your obligations under these Terms, or if we do not enforce our rights against you, or if we delay in doing so, that will not mean that we have waived our rights against you and will not mean that you do not have to comply with those obligations. If we do waive a default by you, we will only do so in writing, and that will not mean that we will automatically waive any later default by you.
The Terms, as amended from time to time, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your rights and obligations in respect to your access to our Website and use of Pre Ordering services we may provide you.
These Terms are governed by the provisions of the laws of India. You and we both agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Ernakulam, Kerala, India. Prior to submitting the matter to the Courts of Ernakulam, the user and CDRSL shall endeavour to resolve the dispute through mutual negotiations
